Richard W. Pawlicki, 67, of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel. Richard was born on April 10, 1956, in Jersey City, New Jersey, and grew up in Keansburg, where he graduated from Keansburg High School and met his beloved wife, Linda. Richard and Linda were married on August 18, 1984, and a few years later settled in Union Beach to raise their family. Before Richard’s retirement, he was a Police Officer for Keansburg Police Department for many years. Prior to his career with the police department, Richard was a corrections officer for the New Jersey Department of Corrections. Most of all, Richard was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Frieda (Paszul) Pawlicki. Richard is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 39 years, Linda (Sisko) Pawlicki, his loving children, Richard W. Pawlicki Jr. and his wife, Amanda, of Hazlet, and Michelle Pawlicki and her husband, Justin Kendall, of Grand Island, Nebraska, his dear sister, Elizabeth Corvasce, and his cherished grandchildren, Lucas Pawlicki and Katherine Pawlicki. Richard also leaves behind his treasured sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Theresa and August Nicosia, and his niece and nephews, Kristina Bloodgood, Nicholas Corvasce, Stephen and Russell Nicosia.
Arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
