Rhonda Ann (McHugh) Saravia

Rhonda Ann Saravia, 61, of North Middletown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 23, 2024, at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey.  She was born Rhonda McHugh on July 19, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York, where she grew up. Rhonda met her beloved husband at a restaurant in Greenwich Village, where their love story began. They were married on February 23, 1990, and started their life together in Brooklyn, New York. Shortly after, they moved to Queens, New York, where they started their family and ultimately settled in North Middletown, New Jersey in 1999.

Rhonda was a very sweet and loving woman. She adored her family and enjoyed spending time with family and friends whenever possible. She loved parties and the holidays, especially Christmas, which was one of her favorite times of the year. In her spare time, Rhonda enjoyed shopping and loved visiting amusement parks. Most of all, Rhonda was a fighter. Her strong will was an inspiration to everyone that knew her. She will be greatly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Lorraine (McCarthy) McHugh. Rhonda is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 34 years, Servio Saravia, her loving children, Cassie Saravia of Toms River, and Servio Adam Saravia, of Staten Island, New York, her brothers, Craig and Keith McHugh, her dear brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Fabiola Acuna and her husband, Juan Carlos, Dario Saravia and his wife, Pauline, Pablo Saravia, and Bernardo Saravia, along with a cherished niece and nephews, many extended family members and friends.
