Raymond Bucko Obituary

Raymond F. Bucko, 83, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Care One in Holmdel.  Raymond was born on November 24, 1938, in Homestead Park, Pennsylvania and grew up in Munhall, Pennsylvania.  In 1959, he moved to New Jersey and raised his family in Hazlet, New Jersey, with his beloved wife, Maureen.  Before his retirement, Raymond worked for Anchor Glass in Cliffwood as an Instrumentation Technician for many years.  Raymond was a long-time parishioner of Holy Family Church in Union Beach, where he was a member of the Mercy Associates for 30 years, as well as a Eucharistic Minister for many years.  While living in Hazlet, he was also a little league coach for baseball and basketball for the Hazlet Youth Athletic League.  In addition, Raymond was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served our country from 1956 to 1959 in the Middle East.  Most of all, Raymond was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather.  He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Helen (Dizaro) Bucko, his beloved wife, Maureen Bucko, his son, Raymond F. Bucko Jr., and his brother, George Bucko.  Raymond is survived by his loving sons, Daniel K. Bucko and his wife, Cheryl, of Belford, Michael Bucko and his wife, Wendy, of Hazlet, and Timothy Bucko and his wife, Raell, of Bayville, his treasured daughter-in-law, Kris Bucko of Cherry Hill, and his dear siblings, Andy, Jerry, James, and Helen, along with 9 cherished grandchildren and 12 adored great grandchildren.

Arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  In respect of Raymond’s wishes, he will be privately cremated.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Raymond on Friday, June 3, 2022, at 10:00 AM at The Church of St. Catherine Labouré, 110 Bray Avenue, N. Middletown, New Jersey 07748.  Raymond’s cremated remains will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, Maureen, at Brigadier General William C.
