Ramon Sola

Ramon Sola, 91, of Hazlet, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center, Hazlet, New Jersey.  Ramon was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on January 30, 1932, where he grew up.  Ramon was 18 years old when he moved to New York. It was in New York that he met and married the love of his life, Juanita Pitre.  After marrying they settled in Bayonne, New Jersey where together they raised their family.  He retired after many dedicated years of working as a machine operator involved in the producing of Hellman’s Real Mayonnaise,  for Kraft Company, Bayonne. 

Ramon was an outstanding gardener, he enjoyed spending time producing fruits and vegetables from seeds.  He loved spending time teaching his children how to garden.

Ramon was predeceased by his beloved parents, Victor and Felina Sola and his caring son in law, Edward Halbach.  He is survived by his loving daughter, April Halbach, his cherished grandchildren, Mike Molina, Jennifer Molina and John E. Sullivan and his adoring great grandchildren, Jordan Sabuda and Jake Hoffman.
