Ralph Louis Nappi

Ralph Louis Nappi, 77, of Jackson, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.  Ralph was born on May 29, 1941 in Long Branch, New Jersey the only child of the late Louis and Marian Nappi and grew up in Keyport.  He married Dolores and they began their marriage of 57 years in Holmdel, New Jersey, where they also raised their family.  In 1992, they relocated to Woodstock Georgia.  It was there he dedicated his life to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  In 2014, he and Dolores returned to New Jersey, settling in Jackson.  Ralph had a long and respected career of over 50 years in the trucking industry beginning as a tank cleaner at the age of 18 for Nappi Trucking in Matawan, NJ working his way to Vice President of Intermodal Services at Allwaste Container Services in Atlanta GA.  He loved his Savior, his country and his family. Ralph will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. 

Ralph is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 57 years, Dolores (Meglio) Nappi, his loving children, Louis Nappi and his wife, Dawn, of South Carolina, Joseph Nappi and his wife, Victoria, of Jackson, New Jersey, and Jackie Stump and her husband, Donald, of North Carolina, 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visit and celebrate Ralph’s life on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home, 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A service will be officiated by Ralph’s Pastor, Dominick Cuozzo on Wednesday morning, May 29, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church in Aberdeen, New Jersey.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 360 Broadway, Keyport, New Jersey 07735.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
