Priscilla Rivera

Priscilla Rivera, age 79, a resident of Red Bank, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2020, at Hackensack Meridian Health Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Red Bank, New Jersey. She was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and moved to New York as a preteen with her parents and siblings.  She met her husband Angel Rivera.   In 1998 Priscilla moved to New Jersey to be closer to her children. Priscilla devoted her life to taking care of her family and cherished her time with her grandchildren. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her love for her family knew no bounds.

She is predeceased by her devoted husband Angel R. Rivera and loving daughter Noemi Rivera. Priscilla is survived by her 3 loving sons Angelo Rivera, Jr. of Eatontown  New Jersey, David Rivera of Bordentown  New Jersey, Robert Rivera  of Spring Valley, New York; and two daughters Nancy Arnavas of Tinton Falls, New Jersey,  and Estelle Rivera of Orlando, Florida;   Priscilla is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. It is with much sadness and sorrow that she departed but comforting to know that she has met the Lord and joined his Kingdom to rejoice in everlasting life.  Her family take solace in the fond memories we have and cherish the thought of meeting again.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., at 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. Due to the current COVID-19 health crisis, visitation and services will be held privately for the immediate family only.
