Polla H. Timpanaro, 82, of Keyport, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey. She was born Polla Kohn on September 4, 1937 in Neptune, New Jersey and was raised in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Polla attended the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts, where she met her beloved husband, Victor. On December 26, 1958, Polla and Victor were married and began their life together in Alexandria, Virginia. They also lived in New York City for a short period of time, before returning to Asbury Park, New Jersey. They ultimately settled in Ocean Township to raise their family and remained there for 30 years. They were presently living in Keyport, New Jersey. Polla was an artist and framer at her husband's art studio, Victor C. Timpanaro Studio's in Keyport, New Jersey.
She was predeceased by her parents, Theodore and Ceil (Galex) Kohn. Polla is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 60 years, Victor C. Timpanaro, her loving children, Michael Timpanaro and his wife, Beth Moncher, of Marlboro, New Jersey, Roza Timpanaro and her husband, Michael Dollear, of Keyport, New Jersey, Reg Hogan and her husband, Jim, of Brick, New Jersey, and Victoria Timpanaro and her husband, Keith Salamunia, of Roselle Park, New Jersey. She is also survived by her dear brother, Ronald Kohn and his wife, Judith, and her cherished grandchildren, Murphy Dollear, Lucas Timpanaro, Ty Hogan, and Hannah Timpanaro. Polla will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
In respect of Polla's wishes, she will be privately cremated.
