Philomena "Fay" (Massarotti) Caruso

Philomena "Fay" Caruso, 100, of Staten Island, New York, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.  She was born Philomena Massarotti on March 8, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York.  Fay grew up in Brooklyn, New York, where she met her beloved husband, Ernest.  They were married and began their lives together in Brooklyn, where they remained to raise their family.  Approximately 45 years ago, Fay settled in Staten Island, New York.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  Fay will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her parents, Luigi and Rosina (Romanelli) Massarotti, and her beloved husband, Ernest Caruso.  Fay is survived by her loving daughter, Pamela Speranza and her husband, Joseph, of Ocean, New Jersey, and her cherished grandchildren, Melissa and Joseph Speranza.
