Pedro Perez, 71 of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Pedro was born on January 25, 1952, in Brooklyn, New York. Soon after, the family moved to Jersey City, New Jersey. Pedro loved listening to “Salsa” music. He was hardworking and dedicated to his job as a warehouse worker for the International Cargo Terminal in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Pedro was a wonderful son, husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Pedro was predeceased by his beloved parents, Odorico J. and Maria J. (DelToro) Perez, his wife, Ida Perez, sisters, Onyria Trujillo and Diane SanMartin. He is survived by his daughters, Leslie Perez, Elaine Perez and Michelle Perez, as well as his 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, all residing in Puerto Rico, a sister, Rose Feliciano and her late husband Ralph, of Hazlet, New Jersey and their children, John, Teela, Sabrina and Sioban, a sister, Donna M. Olivera and her husband Ramon of Keyport, New Jersey and their children Donna and Raymond, a sister, Lucy M. Soto and her late husband George of Hazlet, New Jersey and their children George Jr., Kristy and Jennifer, a brother, Odorico Perez and his wife Lucy and their children, Odorico and Frank, also, the children of Onyria, Donna, Oscar and Nancy as well as many great nieces, nephews and extended family.
