Paul Joseph Savoia

Paul Joseph Savoia, 84, of Ocean Grove, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 12, 2021, at Jersey Shore Medical Center. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on November 27, 1937, where he was raised. In 1976, Paul settled in Hazlet, and in 1993, moved to Ocean Grove, New Jersey, where he remained. Paul retired from New Jersey Path, where he was a Conductor.  He was predeceased by his wife, Anna Scognamiglio Savoia, his parents, Joseph Paul and Angelina (Pelicano) Savoia, and his siblings, Irene Barbour, Joseph Savoia and Marie Tufano.  Paul is survived by his loving children, Joseph Savoia of Laurence Harbor,  his daughter in law, Lisa Savoia of Freehold, New Jersey,  Angela Savoia of Middlesex, New Jersey, his son in law, Robert Mondero of Middlesex, New Jersey, Paul "PJ" Savoia, Jr. and his husband, Steven Koumoulis, of Red Bank, New Jersey, Paul's partner John Zabicki, and his cherished grandchildren, Stephanie Savoia and Natalie Savoia. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
