Paul J. Rivera Jr.

Paul J. Rivera Jr., 59, of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel.  Paul was born on October 11, 1964, in Manhattan, New York and grew up in Matawan.  On May 16, 1987, Paul and his beloved wife, Lisa, were married and began their life and family together in Union Beach, New Jersey.  Paul was currently working for Blue Hill Data as a Help Desk Analyst.  Paul adored animals, especially dogs, and was fondly known as the “Dog Whisperer” amongst his family and friends.  He was also a CB radio enthusiast and a country music fan.  Above all else, Paul was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, and friend to many.  He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

He was predeceased by his parents, Pablo Rivera Alvarez and Dolores Alvarado Torres, his sister, Maria Dolores Rivera, and his dear dog, Tank.  Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Lisa A. (Ledden) Rivera, his loving sons, PJ Rivera and Alex Rivera, his devoted twin sister, Rosario Dolores “Chatter” Hart and her husband, Timothy, his sisters, Consuelo Dolores Singerline and her husband, Gerard, and Carmen Dolores Rivera, and his treasured “dog nephew”, Reggie.
