Patricia Ann Wyatt, 87, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at the New Jersey Veteran's Memorial Home at Menlo Park in Edison. She was born Patricia Ann Lacey on October 31, 1934, in Irvington, New Jersey, where she grew up. On May 4, 1957, Patricia and her beloved husband, Robert, were married and began their life together. Soon after in 1959, they settled in Hazlet, New Jersey, where they remained to raise their family. Before her retirement in 1992, Patricia worked as the business administrator for Brookdale Community College. In her spare time, she enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City with her partner-in-crime and best friend, Wendy Creuz. Most of all, Patricia was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
She was predeceased by her parents, Russell and Loretta (Knight) Lacey, her daughter, Susan Marie Scales and her husband, Robert, and her sister, Joan Mazauskas. Patricia is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 64 years, Robert G. Wyatt, her loving children, Robert G. Wyatt and his wife, Christina of Colts Neck, and Cathy Roche of Hazlet, and her dear sister, Lynne Stires. Patricia also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Michael Wyatt, John Roche, Leah Vitale, Brian Wyatt, and Jessica Roche, and her adored great grandchildren, Jordan, Madison, Camille, Johnny, Michael, and Cory, along with many treasured nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday morning, January 19, 2022, from 9:15 to 10:15 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday morning, January 19, 2022, at 11:00 AM at The Catholic Church of St. Ann, 311 Carr Avenue, Keansburg, New Jersey 07734. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.
