Patricia F (Caiafa) Schlosser

Patricia F.(nee Caiafa) Schlosser, 73, of Matawan passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. She was born on May 31, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York. In 1972, Patricia moved to Matawan and started her career as a Registered Nurse at Bayshore Community Hospital where she retired after 42 years of service. Patricia met Darryl Schlosser, they married on October 1980 and soon after started a family.  She enjoyed reading, cooking, planting flowers and soaking up the sunshine on the beach. Patricia, a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She will be missed, always loved, and never forgotten. 

Patricia is predeceased by her beloved parents, Michael and Maria (Esposito) Caiafa. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Darryl Schlosser, her devoted daughters, Jenna Romanski and her husband Leonard of Manalapan, Sara Slate and her husband Eric of Aberdeen and Victoria Goff and her husband Jamie of Old Bridge, her caring siblings, Michael Caiafa and his wife Maria, Barbara Ennis and her husband Michael and Richard Caiafa and his late wife Maria, her cherished grandchildren, Julianna Slate, River Romanski, Lucas Slate, Rowan Romanski and Arya Goff and many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Sunday, July 23, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey   07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Monday, July 24, 2023 at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 133 Amboy Road, Matawan, New Jersey  07747. At the request of Patricia’s wishes she will be privately cremated.
