Patricia A. Halaburda, age 69, of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, on June 15, 2026, at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, New Jersey.
Born on July 16, 1956, in Verdun, France, Patricia was the beloved daughter of James Molino and Micheline (Fourgeaud) Molino. She came to Jersey City , New Jersey from France as an infant and grew up with the strong family values that would guide her throughout her life. In high school, she met the love of her life, Stephen M. Halaburda, and the two shared a devoted marriage of 35 years after being wed on November 6, 1987. Together, they built a beautiful life in Union Beach, where they settled in 1982 and raised their family with love, dedication, and pride.
Patricia was a woman of great, strength, and creativity as well as being independent and strong willed. She worked for many years as an insurance agent for various companies, where her professionalism and kindness earned the respect of those around her. Later in life, she found great fulfillment as a teacher’s aide at Union Beach Memorial School in Union Beach, New Jersey, where she touched the lives of students and staff alike with her patience and caring nature. She also devoted time as a caregiver for family members, reflecting the selfless spirit that defined so much of her life.
Patricia was known for her loving heart, her courage in the face of life’s challenges, and her creative spirit. She enjoyed gardening, painting, and spending time at the beach, where she found peace and joy in the simple beauty of the world around her. Above all else, she treasured the time she spent with her wonderful family, and her greatest happiness came from being surrounded by those she loved. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to her home, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 35 years, Stephen M. Halaburda, her father, James Molino, and her brother, Michael Molino. Patricia is survived by her loving children, Jonathan Halaburda and his wife, Veronica, Megan Halaburda and her boyfriend, Gavin Herzog; her caring mother, Micheline Molino; her dear siblings, James R. Molino and his wife, Veronica, Steven Molino and his wife, Janet, her sister-in-law, Edith Molino; her cherished grandsons, Miles and Evan Halaburda, her nieces and nephews Michael, Philip, Matthew, Natalie, Jimmy, Chantal, Steven and Charlie as well as extended family members who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
Patricia will be remembered as a loving, courageous, and creative woman whose life was centered on family, devotion, and quiet acts of kindness. Her legacy is one of enduring love, steadfast commitment, and the many ways she made life brighter for those around her. Though she will be deeply missed, her family and friends will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered during the visitation. In respect of Patricia’s wishes she will be privately cremated.
