Patricia H. (McKernan) Clancy

Patricia Helen Clancy, 93, born at home in the Greenville section of Jersey City and currently of Hazlet, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.  Pat attended Saint Paul’s Catholic Grammar School and was a parishioner of Saint Paul's Catholic Church in Jersey City where she received all her sacraments, including the Sacrament of Marriage to her husband Ed.
As a young newlywed she moved to Secaucus, New Jersey for six years and then in 1959, they moved to Hazlet, New Jersey to raise their family.  Pat was widowed at the young age of 39 and went onto raise her family of seven children, two of which were only 1 ½ years old when her husband Ed passed.  She was an avid Yankee fan and a master at crossword puzzles.  Patricia will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
She was predeceased by mother, Helen and Father, Leo McKernan, her husband, Edward J. Clancy, and her siblings, Leo, Doris, Mariann, Joan, Tommy, Robert, Jack and Margaret. She is survived by her children, Mary Clancy of, New York City, NY, John E. Clancy and his wife Barbara of Hazlet, New Jersey, Kevin Clancy and his partner Michael of Atlantic Highlands, Margaret Clancy and her partner Dennis of Neptune, New Jersey, Brian Clancy and his wife Daniella of Columbiana, Ohio, Jayne Stites and her husband Tim of Brick, New Jersey and Carol Scully and her husband Robert of Union Beach, New Jersey, her cherished grandchildren, Jenine, Amanda, Erin, Bobby, Sean, Ryan, Timmy, James, Brianna, Brandon, Eddie, Tyler, Cameron, and Brayden, and her adored great grandchildren, Natalie, Amelia, Vivian, Audrey, and Ruby. 
Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, August 19, 2024, from 2:00PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at and on Tuesday morning, August 20, 2024, from 8:45 AM to 9:30 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
