Pamela M. (Burrell) Barksdale

Pamela M. Barksdale, 58, of Matawan, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 11, 2020.  She was born Pamela M. Burrell on August 7, 1962 in Virginia, where she grew up.  After marriage, Pamela and her husband, Ralph, raised their family in New Jersey and were currently settled in Matawan.  Pamela worked for Dapper Bus Company in Iselin, New Jersey, for many years.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many.  She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her parents, George and Ernestine (Jenkins) Burrell, her daughter, Antoinette Barksdale, and her sister, Evonne Moulton.  Pamela is survived by her biological mother, Shirley Ann Curry, her beloved and devoted husband, Ralph Barksdale, her loving son, Brandon Barksdale, her dear siblings, Cleveland Smith, Alvin Smith, Keith Smith, and Corey Smith, and her cherished grandchildren, Isaha Barksdale and London Barksdale.
