Nyut Shin Chan, fondly known as "Julie", 57, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey. Julie was born on July 19, 1964 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and has been living in Hazlet, New Jersey since 2001 with her family. While living in New Jersey, Julie was the prior owner and cashier of First Wok Restaurant in Keyport. Most of all, Julie was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Julie is survived by her beloved and devoted husband, Kim Foi Hiew, her loving sister, Yuet Ngor Chan, her dear brother, Ah Kay Chan, and her cherished niece, Pui See Wong, along with many cherished friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. In respect of Julie's wishes, she will be privately cremated. At the request of Julie's family, they ask that you do not wear any black or white clothing to Julie's visitation, but instead to please wear bright colors in loving memory of Julie.
