Nicholas J. Falci, 91, of Holmdel, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Hazlet, New Jersey. Nicholas was born on April 3, 1927 in Manhattan, New York. He grew up in the Bronx, New York. In 1953 he moved to Brooklyn, New York where he raised his family, before settling in Holmdel, New Jersey in 2011. Nicholas was an accountant for Behan, Ling and Ruta for many years before retirement. He was also a proud World War II Veteran of the United States Navy.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Jennie (Parulo) Falci, his beloved wife, Rose (Zimbalatti) Falci, his siblings, James Falci, Rosemarie Doonan and Joseph Falci, and his companion of 24 years, Connie Porter. Nicholas is survived by his loving children, Mary Jane Ventura and her husband, Joseph of Brooklyn, New York, Joseph Falci and his wife, Kathleen of Holmdel, New Jersey, and Vincent Falci and his wife, Donna of Middletown, New Jersey, his adored grandchildren, Nicole Ventura, Anthony Ventura and Jessica Seddo, Vincent Morch-Falci and his husband, Michael, Nicholas Falci, Peter Falci, his treasured great-grandchildren, Gianna and Alexa Ventura, and his sister-in-law, Patricia Falci. Nicholas will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A mass of Christian burial will be offered at St. Catharine’s R.C. Church, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel, New Jersey on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 10:30 AM.
