Nancy DeJulio, 94, of Middletown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Fritzingertown Memory Care in Drums, Pennsylvania. She was born Nancy Gioia on June 14, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York, where she grew up and met her beloved husband, Vincent. On July 19, 1952, Nancy and Vincent were married and began their life together in Brooklyn. A few years later, they relocated to West Virginia, where they remained to raise their family. About 10 years later, they settled in Middletown, New Jersey. Nancy adored her family and devoted her life to caring for them. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Maria (Giacomazzo) Gioia, and her beloved husband, Vincent DeJulio. Nancy is survived by her loving children, Donna Matejka and her husband, Kevin, of Hazlet, Debbie Dura and her husband, Tony, of Middletown, Vicky Hanlon and her husband, Michael, of Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, and Vincent DeJulio and his wife, Marina, of Las Vegas, Nevada, her dear sister, Marie Mahoney and her husband, John, of Breezy Point, New York, and her daughter-in-law, Lila DeJulio. Nancy also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Anthony Dura and his wife, Kristin, Nicholas Dura and his wife, Samantha, Christopher Dura, Dana Hanlon and Jared Cranga, Michelle Housell and her husband, Stephen, Carissa DeJulio, Jaclyn Vitalone and her husband, Dominick, Kevin Matejka, Dante DeJulio, Raphael DeJulio, and Vincent DeJulio, and her cherished great grandchildren, Madison, Colton, Copeland, Cameron, Derek, and Giuliana, along with many treasured nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In respect of Nancy’s wishes, she was privately cremated. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 12:00 to 3:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
