Michael Mariolis

Michael Mariolis, a cherished soul known for his kindness and warm heart, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, in Holmdel, New Jersey. Born on June 29, 1946, in Manhattan, New York, to the late Michael and Lela (Francisco) Mariolis, Michael's early years in Keyport laid the foundation for his resilient spirit and generous nature.

In 1952, Michael moved to Keyport, New Jersey, where he spent his formative years before settling in Hazlet, New Jersey, in 1964. Michael's professional journey was marked by his tenure as a Restaurant Manager at the Shore Point Inn, where his passion for service and his ability to create a welcoming atmosphere left an indelible mark on both the establishment and its patrons. His dedication to his work was paralleled only by his devotion to his family and friends.

He leaves behind his wife, Patricia (Powell) Mariolis and his daughter, Margaret Lela Mariolis.  Michael's legacy is also carried on by his brother, Peter Mariolis and his wife Jolynn, as well as his brother Nicholas Mariolis and his wife Elizabeth. His role as an uncle to seven nieces and nephews he cherished deeply, always ready with a kind word and a supportive embrace.
