Michael E. Murphy

Michael Murphy, 39, of Glassboro, New Jersey, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020.  Michael was born on May 10, 1980 in Red Bank, and he grew up in Middletown, New Jersey.  He was a talented cook and loved sharing his culinary skills with his family. He was also an avid music lover and enjoyed going to live concerts.

Michael was predeceased by his parents, Patricia Thomson and Francis William Murphy, Sr. and his twin brother, Thomas Patrick Murphy. He is survived by his cherished daughter, Kelcie Murphy, his loving and caring siblings, Francis William Murphy, Jr., of Cinnaminson, New Jersey, Jimmy Ducharme, Jr., Kyley Ducharme, and Delia Ducharme, all of Manalapan, New Jersey and his dear Step-father, James Ducharme, Sr. Michael was also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends. Michael will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, March 16, 2020 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM and Tuesday morning, March 17, 2020 from 9:30AM to 10:15AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday morning, March 17, 2020 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery, 456 State Highway/ Route 35 South, Red Bank, NJ, 07701.  In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Michael may be made to the family.
