Matthew B. Rotondo

Matthew B. Rotondo, 48, of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey.  Matthew was born on September 1, 1971 in Jersey City, New Jersey, where he was raised and lived for the majority of his life.  Later in life, Matthew settled in Union Beach, New Jersey.  He was predeceased by his loving father, Bernardo Rotondo.  Matthew is survived by his beloved mother, Dorothy (Olenhaus) Rotondo, his dear siblings, Vincenzo Rotondo of Waldoboro, Maine, Christopher Rotondo of Bayonne, New Jersey, and Janine Novrit and her husband, Victor, of Hazlet, New Jersey, and his cherished niece and nephews, Loren Ranero, Gavin, Mason and Chase Novrit.  Matthew will be sadly missed and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM and Friday morning, February 21, 2020 from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home during Thursday's visitation hours.  Interment will follow Friday morning's visitation hours at approximately 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Cemetery, 360 Broadway, Keyport, New Jersey 07735.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
