Maryann McAndrew

Maryann McAndrew, 74, of Sayreville, New Jersey, passed away at her home on Saturday, November 6, 2021.  She was born Maryann Downey on May 28, 1947, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. She lived most of her life in Laurence Harbor.  Before her retirement, Maryann worked as a cashier for Food Town in South Amboy. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.  Maryann will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Florence (Miller) Downey, her siblings, John Downey, Lawrence Downey and Roberta Baxter. Maryann is survived by her beloved husband, Michael McAndrew, her loving children, Lisa Reid of Edison, Tracey Ryan and her husband, Jimmy of Union Beach, Renee Yurovchak and her husband, Richard of Point Pleasant, Pennsylvania, Marie Reid and her husband, Billy of Cliffwood Beach and Joseph McAndrew and his wife, Carmela of Sayreville, and her dear siblings, Michael Downey and his wife, Kathy and Lorraine Edley and her husband, Roger. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Nicole Reid, Artie Reid, Morgan Reid, McKenna Reid, Samantha Ryan, Julia McAndrew, Allie Reid, Lena McAndrew and Jack Ryan, her loving, great grandchild, Aiden Reid.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be held during the visitation hours approximately 7:00 PM at the funeral home. In respect of Maryann’s wishes, she will be cremated.
