MaryPat Parnaby, 72, of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on January 22, 2024. MaryPat was born and raised in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, where she spent her childhood before meeting the love of her life Thomas Parnaby. They were married on April 4, 1967, and began their life together. MaryPat moved to New Jersey in 1975, and settled in Union Beach in 1979 where she remained. MaryPat worked as a Branch Manager for many years at United Jersey Bank in Freehold, NJ, and upon retirement, decided to stay active working part-time at her local Quick Check, where she worked for the past 11 years.
While MaryPat was enjoyed her banking career, she particularly enjoyed reading, crocheting, and especially loved cooking and posting her recipes on Facebook. MaryPat was also a passionate “dog-person”, with her most recent pup being Roxy. MaryPat was a wonderful wife and mother and will be greatly missed.
MaryPat is predeceased by her parents Charles Kermit Nourigat I and Gladys Mary (Bish) Nourigat. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Thomas L. Parnaby Sr., her children Lisa Parnaby and her partner William, and Thomas L. Parnaby Jr. and his wife Laurie, her brother Charles Kermit Nourigat II and his wife Sandy, and many other extended family and friends.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey. Jersey. In respect of MaryPat’s wishes she will be privately cremated. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, January 24th, 2024, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM.
