Mary Jane (Hartnett) Ruffolo

Mary Jane Ruffolo, 82, of Toms River, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 13, 2022.  She was born Mary Jane Hartnett on October 30, 1939 in Bronx, New York, where she grew up.  On September 10, 1960, Mary Jane and her husband, Anthony, were married and began their lives together.  They lived in East Brunswick, New Jersey, before retiring to Toms River, New Jersey in 1992.  Before her retirement, Mary Jane worked for Olin Corporation in Manhattan, New York for many years.  Mary Jane was a loving wife, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend to many.  She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Eleanor (Gault) Hartnett, and her brother, Joseph Hartnett.  Mary Jane is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 61 years, Anthony Ruffolo, her dear sister, Barbara Greer, her cherished nieces, Michele Baratta and her husband, Richard, Jaclyn LoMonte, and Ellen Davis, her dear sister in law Diana Servider,  7 adored great nieces and nephews, and 6 treasured great great nieces and nephews, along with many treasured extended family members and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday morning, January 19, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday morning, January 19, 2022 at 11:30 AM at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.  Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
