Mary Ann Trani

Mary Ann Trani, 79, of Middletown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at her residence in Middletown. She was born Mary Ann Santora on September 29, 1942, in Jersey City, New Jersey, where she grew up. She married her husband, James J. Trani on November 16, 1963, and started their lives together.  In 1972, moved to Hazlet, New Jersey, to raise their family and in 2019, settled in Middletown. Before her retirement, Mary Ann worked as a legal secretary for the law firm of Giordano, Halleran and Ciesla Attorneys in Lincroft, New Jersey. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Pauline (Hrycyshyn) Santora. Mary Ann is survived by her devoted husband, James J. Trani of Middletown, New Jersey, her loving children, Michael Trani of Ridgefield, New Jersey, Melissa Venezia and her husband, Thomas Jones, of Aberdeen, New Jersey and Jennifer Shea and her husband, Kevin, of Middletown, New Jersey, her cherished grandchildren, James Venezia, Emma Shea, Jack Shea, Julia Venezia and Benjamin Shea.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Friday morning, May 13, 2022, from 8:30 to 9:15 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Church/Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 376 Maple Place, Keyport, New Jersey on Friday, May 13, 2022, at 10:00 AM.
