Mary Ann Olah, 80, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Long Branch, New Jersey on June 28, 1944, and she grew up in Union Beach, New Jersey before settling down in Hazlet, New Jersey. Mary worked as a Customer Service Representative for FedEx in Somerset, New Jersey before retiring. Above all else, Mary was a loving mother and sister. She will be greatly missed, forever loved and never forgotten.
She was predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Mary (O’Brien) Sauickie. Mary is survived by her children, Christopher Olah, Jeffrey Olah of Hazlet, New Jersey and Candace Olah of New York. She is also survived by her siblings, Margaret Klinsky and her husband Charles, Alexander Sauickie Jr. and his wife Patricia, Thomas Sauickie and his wife Deborah and Philip Sauickie and his wife Roseanne as well as many nieces and nephews.
In respect of Mary Ann’s wishes, she was privately cremated. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered by Pastor Gene from the Grace United Methodist Church in Union Beach during the visitation at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers donations, in loving memory of Mary Ann, to Keyport Ministerium Food Pantry, keyportfoodpantry.org would be greatly appreciated.
