Mary A. (Schuber) Meyer

Mary A. Meyer, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, September 26, 2021, at Complete Care Green Acres in Toms River, New Jersey.  Mary was born on July 17, 1930, in Manhattan, New York, where she grew up and met her beloved husband, Robert.  After marriage, Mary and Robert remained in Manhattan, where they began their family.  In 1965, they settled in Old Bridge, New Jersey.  Before her retirement, Mary worked as a lunch aid for the Old Bridge Township School System for many years and was a devoted parishioner of St. Ambrose Church for over 50 years.  Most of all, Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her parents, Christopher and Helen (Redmond) Schuber, her beloved husband, Robert Meyer, and her dear son, James Meyer.  Mary is survived by her loving children, Robert Meyer and his wife, Patricia, of North Carolina, Ruth Peterson and her companion, Joseph Pichirallo, of Hazlet, and Helen Miller and her husband, Ted, of Lakewood, along with 9 cherished grandchildren and 15 adored great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, September 30th, 2021, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday morning, October 1st, 2021, from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday morning, October 1, 2021, at 10:30 AM at St. Ambrose Church, 81 Throckmorton Lane, Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857.  Interment will follow at Old Brick Church Cemetery, 490 Route 520, Marlboro, New Jersey.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
