Mary (Dwornicki) Brown

Mary Brown, 100, of Nutley, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Arnold Walter Rehabilitation Center in Holmdel, New Jersey.  She was born Mary Dwornicki on June 18, 1924, in Jersey City, New Jersey, where she grew up.  In 1970, Mary and her family settled in Nutley, New Jersey, where she remained.  Before her retirement, Mary worked as a bank teller for Valley National Bank in Clifton for many years.  Most of all, she was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Frances (Kutiak) Dwornicki, and her dear sisters, Dorothy, Jean, Jane and dear brother Francis.  Mary is survived by her loving children, Dennis Brown of Riverdale, Lindsay Brown of Milford, Pennsylvania, and Sharon Frailey and her husband, Matthew, of Hazlet, her cherished grandchildren, Matthew Frailey and his wife Victoria and Christie Spagnola, and her treasured great granddaughter, Gianna Giberson.

In respect of Mary’s wishes, she will be privately cremated.  Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home during visitation hours.
