Marion I. (Echols) Airel

Marion I. Airel, 89,  of Keyport, New Jersey passed away peacefully at Bayshore Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey on October 29, 2022, surrounded by the love of her family.  She was born Marion I. Echols on October 26, 1933 in Jersey City, New Jersey. Marion and her late husband George settled in Keyport where they lived for over 40 years. She retired as a Lab Technician for Novelle Essential Oils Fragrance Manufactures after many years of devoted service.

Marion was predeceased by her parents Roy and Florence (Robinson) Echols, her beloved husband George S. Airel ,her loving son John Airel and her caring brothers George Echols and Robert Echols.  She is survived by her beloved son, Robert J. Airel and his wife Susan of Wall, New Jersey, her daughter  Susan Gartner of Keyport, New Jersey and the father of her children Robert Gartner, her dear sister June Echols, her cherished grandchildren Matthew Gartner, David Gartner, Jessica Airel, Robert Gartner, Tara Airel, Joseph Gartner, and her adored great grandchildren Charles Joseph Gartner, Kaylee Ann Gartner, Trinity Rose Gartner, Julia Alexa Gartner and Leon Theodore Haunstein.  She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 10:00 AM to12:00 Noon at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home at 11:30 AM Wednesday.  Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery, 456 State Route 35 , Red Bank,  (Middletown Township) New Jersey 07701.
