Marie Petrizzo

Marie Petrizzo, 81, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey.  Marie was born on September 18, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York, where she grew up and raised her daughters, Dawn and Valerie.  Before her retirement, she worked as a Secretary for Lenoxx Electronics in Brooklyn, New York for many years.  She was presently living in Hazlet, New Jersey, with her daughter, Dawn.

Marie was an extremely loving woman with a huge heart and a great sense of humor.  She loved her family more than anything in this world and did all she could do give her daughters a beautiful life.  Besides being a mother to her two daughters, Dawn and Valerie, Marie always took everyone under her wing and treated them as her own.  Whether it was her daughter's friends, her grandchildren and their friends, she was everyone's beloved "Mom".  Most of all, Marie adored her grandchildren and loved spending as much time with them as possible.  She enjoyed playing card games and gambling, which she passed down to her family.  She also loved all types of music; country, oldies, Elvis, and you could sometimes even catch her listening to Italian music in trying to keep her Italian heritage alive.  Most of all, Marie was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.  

Marie was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Josephine Mandarano Petrizzo, and her son in law Julio Rosaly.  She is survived by her beloved  daughters Dawn Chiaramonte and her husband Peter of Hazlet, New Jersey, Valerie Rosaly of Hazlet, New Jersey, her dear brother John Petrizzo of Hazlet, New Jersey,  along with her cherished grandchildren Delainie Chiaramonte, Peter Devyn Chiaramonte, Andrew Chiaramonte, and Derek Rosaly.  She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
