Maria J. (DelToro) Perez

Maria J. (DelToro) Perez, 101, of Keyport, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2022, at Bayshore Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Maria was born on April 22, 1921 to Geronemo and Eneidina  Rodriguez DelToro in Oriente, Cuba. She emigrated to the United States in 1947 to Manhattan, NY, moved to Brooklyn in 1949, then lived in Elizabeth, and Jersey City, before settling in Keyport, NJ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother and will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Maria is predeceased by her parents Geronemo and Eneidina (Rodriguez) Perez, her loving husband Odorico J. Perez Sr., her daughter Onyria V. Artraga, her son-in-laws Ralph Feliciano and George Soto, and her daughter-in-law Ida Perez. She is survived by her children Rose C. Feliciano, Donna M. Olivera and her husband Ramon, Pedro Perez, Lucy M. Soto, and Odorico Perez Jr and his wife Lucy, her 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, and many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 3269 Highway/State Route 35 North, Hazlet, NJ 07730. A graveside service will take place at the family plot located in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ at approximately 11:30AM on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
