Margretta “Marge” Stachura, 91, of Ocala, passed away peacefully, on August 2, 2022 after a short illness.
Marge was born in Archbald, PA, to Joseph and Mildred (Vaverchak) Subliskey. After marriage she and her husband, Thomas Stachura, moved to Matawan, NJ, where they raised their family. In 1997, she relocated to Holmdel, NJ. Marge, like her husband Tom, was employed by the Matawan Regional School District.
Marge enjoyed crocheting, her word search books as well as reading, bingo and baking. Most of all, she valued family above all else.
Marge was predeceased by her parents; her beloved husband, Thomas Stachura, Sr., two sisters, Kathleen Mill, Leona Zelno and a brother Joseph Subliskey.
Marge is survived by her sons and their spouses, Thomas (Tom), Jr. and Michelle (Shelly) Stachura of Ocala, FL and Joseph (Joe) Stachura and Linda Pappas of Cape Charles, VA as well as her grandchildren Kaleigh Stachura and her husband Grey Adkins of Poolesville, MD and Chelsea Stachura of Monmouth Beach, NJ, her brother and wife Linus and Lorraine Subliskey of Dickson City, PA as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM and Wednesday morning, August 10, 2022 from 8:45 to 9:30 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Marge on Wednesday morning, August 10, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Clement Roman Catholic Church, 172 Freneau Avenue, Matawan, NJ. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ.
