Margaret Podolsky

Margaret Podolsky 89, of Morganville passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge, New Jersey. She was born Margaret Suchan on December 6, 1931 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, where she grew up.  Margaret raised her family in Old Bridge, before moving to Morganville approximately 25 years ago. Before her retirement, Margaret was a secretary and also worked in Retail Sales for JC Penny in East Brunswick, New Jersey.  Most of all, Margaret was a beloved mother, sister, and aunt who was adored by all of her family and friends.                                                                                                                                      

Margaret is predeceased by her parents, George and Helen Suchan, her son-in-law, John Ankuta and her siblings, Ann Sarisky, Mary Sandor, and Frank Suchan.  Margaret is survived by her loving daughters, Karen Podolsky and her companion, Nick Paglione, and Patti Ankuta and her sister, Eleanor Foley.  Margaret also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, close childhood friends and relatives.

Family and friends are invited visit on Sunday, January 3, 2021, from 5:30 to 9:00 PM and Monday morning, January 4, 2020 from 9:30 to 10:15 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Most Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 133 Amboy Road, Matawan, New Jersey 07747.  In respect of her wishes, Margaret will be privately cremated. For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
