Marc "Cos" J Costigan

Marc J. Costigan, “Cos”, 58, of Keyport, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at

Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel, New Jersey. He was born Marc J. Costigan on May 19, 1964, in

Bayonne, New Jersey. As a child he lived in Jersey City before moving to Keyport in 1976.

After graduating from Keyport High School in 1983, Marc went on to graduate from an Electrical Trade

School as a licensed electrician. Marc enjoyed his work as a General Foreman in rail operations for New

Jersey Transit for the past 24 years.

Marc was a third-degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus in his hometown. He was hardworking,

generous, and unafraid of any task. Marc along with being an avid fisherman loved spending time sitting

on his moms’ deck in St. Augustine overlooking the water. Marc had a gift for helping others, he will be

greatly missed and never forgotten.

Marc was predeceased by his father John Imhoff in 2006. He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa

Monahan Costigan , his devoted daughter, Shannon Costigan of Keyport, His beloved, mother Beatrice

Imhoff of St. Augustine, FL, a caring brother Michael Costigan and his wife Colleen of Point Pleasant, NJ

and nephews, Colin Costigan and Connor Costigan.

A memorial mass will be held at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 727 NJ-36 Union Beach, NJ. on

Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 10:00 am. Followed by a repass at the Knights of Columbus in Keyport. Funeral

arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc…, 3269 State

Hwy/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
