Luz M. Gonzalez, 70 of Hazlet, New Jersey passed away peacefully on March 31, 2018 at River View Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey. She was born on January 28, 1948 to Eusebio and Modesta (Velazquez) Ortiz in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico.Luz was raised in the Bronx, New York before moving to Staten Island, New York in 1973. In 2000 she settled in Hazlet, New Jersey with her family. Luz is survived by her devoted husband, John Gonzalez of Hazlet, New Jersey, her loving children, Maria Gonzalez of Howell, New Jersey and Giselle Gonzalez of Lakewood, New Jersey. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, John Chisvette, Robert Kelly, Francis Kelly, Frank Silva, Jarett Silva and Angelina Silva. Luz will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
