Obituary

Luis A. Del Pozo, 95, of Keyport, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 10, 2022.  Luis was born on August 29, 1926 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, where he was raised.  In his early adulthood, Luis joined the Army and was station in Germany during World War II.  After the war, Luis and his family moved to New York and later in life, he settled in New Jersey.  Before his retirement, Luis worked as a Supervisor for Shell Oil Company in Manhattan, New York.  Luis was a loving son, brother, and uncle.  He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

He was predeceased by his parents, Pedro and Ernestine (Luciano) Pozo, and his dear sisters, Gloria Rodrigues and Myrta Pozo.  Luis is survived by his beloved sister, Miriam Pozo and his cherished nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday morning, June 15, 2022 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  Interment will follow at approximately 12:30 PM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, New York.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
