Lori E. Fasullo, 61, of Laurence Harbor, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey. She was born Lori Fedeli on December 20, 1958 in South Amboy, New Jersey and grew up in Laurence Harbor. On May 31, 1986, Lori and her high-school sweetheart, Stephen, were married and began their lives together in Laurence Harbor, where they remained to raise their family. Throughout her life, Lori worked as a hairdresser, which was a passion of hers. She loved her job and worked at various salons, and over the last few years was hairstylist at Plaza Unisex, located in Airport Plaza in Hazlet. In addition to her passion for hairdressing, Lori was a die-hard New York Mets Fan. Lori adored her two grandsons, who were the apples of her eye and she loved to the moon and back. Most of all, Lori was an extremely loving, caring, generous woman, whose love for her family knew no bounds.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Joan (Kirkirt) Fedeli, her brother, Joseph Fedeli, and her brother-in-law, David McAndrew. Lori is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 33 years, Stephen Fasullo, her loving son, Stephen J. Fasullo of Parlin, and her dear sisters, Deborah McAndrew of Toms River and Cheryl Gissubel and her husband, Robert, of Keyport. She is also survived by her cherished grandsons, Nicholas and Anthony Fasullo, her adored nieces and nephews, Jennifer Kaniuk and her husband, Kevin, Melissa Badrick and her husband, Steven, Bobby Gissubel and his wife, Tara, David McAndrew and his wife, Chrissy, and Ashley Zeffiro and her husband, Danny, along with many treasured great nieces and great nephews. Lori will be missed immensely, but never forgotten.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. Due to the current COVID-19 health crisis, visitation and services will be held privately for the immediate family only. Lori will be interred at St. Joseph Cemetery in Keyport.
