Lois Marie (Phillips) Alpaugh

Lois Marie Alpaugh, 94, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel, New Jersey.  She was born Lois Marie Phillips on June 20, 1928, in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, where she grew up.  In 1961, Lois moved to Hazlet, New Jersey where she remained.  Lois was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. 

Lois was predeceased by her parents, Elwood, and Ethel (Savercol) Phillips, her beloved husband Raymond L. Alpaugh and a son, Stephen A. Alpaugh.  Lois is survived by her loving children, Karen L. Tiemann and her husband Stephen of Freehold, New Jersey, Raymond L. Alpaugh of Port Orchard, Washington, John C. Alpaugh and his wife Debra of Freehold, Mark R. Alpaugh and his wife Madeline of Cliffwood, New Jersey , Matthew R. Alpaugh and his wife Dorothy of Georgetown, Kentucky, a daughter in law, Betty Jo Alpaugh of Dixon, Missouri, cherished grandchildren, Amy Schwarz, Nicholas Alpaugh, Stephen Alpaugh Jr., Jennifer Holdren, Sarah Vantil, Janine Kotalik, David Alpaugh, Mark Alpaugh Jr., Nicole Alpaugh and Brian Alpaugh and her adoring twelve great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday morning September 28, 2022, from 9:30 to 10:15 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 Highway/Route 35, Hazlet, New Jersey, 07730.  Entombment will follow on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, approximately 10: 40 AM, at Holmdel Cemetery/Mausoleum 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, New Jersey, 07733.
