Linda Ward Burns

Linda Ward Burns, 74, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on May 19, 2023. 

Linda was born on May 9, 1949 to Peter and Regina Ward (nee Hamilton) in Brooklyn, NY. Linda was a graduate of Canarsie High School.

In 1999, Linda met her husband, Bernard Burns, in New Jersey.  Linda and Barney went to live many happy years in Middletown, NJ, and later in Palm Coast, Florida.

Linda and Barney cherished their home and doted on their cat, Mojo. Linda loved visiting with family, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

Linda is predeceased by her parents, Peter and Regina Ward, and her brothers, Timothy and Peter Ward, Jr. She is survived by her devoted husband, Bernard Burns, her adoring children, Bridget Willig, her husband, Tim Willig, and Joseph Stanzione and his partner, Vickie. She is a loving grandmother to Alexa Marino, Grace Marino, and Joseph Stanzione, Jr.

She is also survived by a large and loving extended family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In respect of Linda's wishes, she was privately cremated.  Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Sunday, August 13, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07733.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home during the visitation hours.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
