Linda M. Varlese

Linda M. Varlese, 78, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, June 15, 2020 at her son’s home in Union Beach, New Jersey.  Linda, originally from Union Beach, spent her life in the Bayshore area and eventually settled in Hazlet. She worked as a school bus driver for 40 years for the Helfrich Bus Company before retirement. She loved playing softball, card games with her dear friends, and especially enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth (Burke) and Delancey Rose, and her sisters, Janet Olivera and Laura Rose. She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey Sullivan and his wife Anne, of Union Beach, New Jersey, her cherished grandchildren, Aiden and Sean, her dear siblings, Betty Humphries, Susie Mikkelsen and Norman Rose.  Linda is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Linda will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
