Lily F. Myles, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at home in Hazlet, New Jersey. She was born Lily Casey on April 5, 1931 in Weehawken, New Jersey and grew up in Union City. After High School, she worked for the Lipton Tea Company in Jersey City. In 1955, she married William Myles and resided in West New York, New Jersey. In 1963, she moved to Middletown, New Jersey where she raised her family and recently settled in Hazlet, New Jersey with her daughter. Lily was a homemaker and a retired Corrections Officer for the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Department
Lily was predeceased by her parents, Anna (Heber) and Lawrence Casey, her beloved husband, William Myles, and her siblings, Carolyn Ryan, Aileen Gilbert and George Pulschen. She is survived by her loving children, Pamela Bailey of Naples, Florida, Alysia Eschner and her husband, Robert of Hazlet, New Jersey, and Douglas Myles of Union Beach, New Jersey, her dear brother, Lawrence Casey, and her cherished grandchildren, Stephen, Derek and Elise Bailey, and Robert W. and Zachary Eschner. Lily is also survived by several nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends. Lily will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Prayer Service will be offered during visiting hours at the funeral home. In respect of Lily’s wishes, she will be privately cremated.
