Lillian "Lil" (Hurley) Russell

Lillian Russell, fondly known as "Lil", 85, of Belford, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 27, 2023, at Anchor Care, Hazlet, New Jersey.  She was born Lillian Hurley in Toronto, Canada on August 29, 1937.  Lillian met and later married the love of her life, Robert B. Russell on October 1, 1955. Together they moved to Belford in 1968, where they raised their family.  Lillian was a devoted, daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother.  She loved caring for her family.  Lillian will be greatly missed and never forgotten.  

Lillian was predeceased by her beloved parents, Wilfred and Gertrude (Knowles) Hurley. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert B. Russell, her devoted children, Alan Russell and his wife, Cherry, of Shawnee, Kansas, Heather Russell of Melbourne, Florida, Robert L. Russell of Parker, Colorado and Blair Ian Russell of Red Bank, New Jersey, her cherished grandchildren, Karly Mindnich, Shelby Acosta, Kendell Mindnich, Fallon Russell and Clark Russell.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey  07730.
