Lawrence G. Pullis

Lawrence “Larry” G. Pullis, 83, of Matawan, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at his home.  He was born on December 8, 1939, in Union City, New Jersey.  He married his wife Judith (Gaus) Pullis and they lived in Jersey City, New Jersey before moving to “Barley Point Island” on the Navesink River in Rumson, New Jersey, where he retired to Matawan, New Jersey.  Larry retired from Coyne Textile Services in Union City, New Jersey where he worked as a Route Salesman. He was an avid fisherman, loved to work in the garden, listen to country music, play the guitar, cook and read various daily newspapers.

Larry was predeceased by his beloved parents, John and Louise (Rau) Pullis, and his loving wife, Judith (Gaus) Pullis.  He is survived by his caring children, Cindy Sherman and her husband Darrin, Cheryl Crawford and her husband Alan, Carrie Nagy and her husband George, his cherished grandchildren, Caitlin Dudek and her husband Cole, Daniel Crawford, Chloe Sherman, Taylor Nagy and Danielle Nagy, his adored great grandchild, Cuyler Dudek, and a dear sister, Carolyn Ulikowski, several nieces and nephews and a grandnephew.

In respect of Lawrence’s wishes, he will be privately cremated.
