Klement Danizik, 94 years old, of Hazlet, NJ, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home surrounded by his loved ones. Klement was born on January 23, 1927, in Slovakia. He met his wife, Elizabeth, in Nuremberg Germany where they married and had two children. In 1957 they moved to America and settled in Jersey City where they had two more children. They raised their four children in Jersey City. Klement worked as a steelworker for many years in New York and then as a mechanic in New Jersey. After Elizabeth passed in 2004, he moved in with his daughter’s family in Hazlet where he has been residing for the last few years.
Klement loved animals and anything to do with nature. He liked watching documentaries about wildlife and enjoyed going on walks and just being outside. He was a man on many skills, and could fix relatively anything with his hands. He was quite proficient with early electronics, and was known throughout the neighborhood as the man that could fix it, when if broke. Later in life, he enjoyed tinkering with games on tablets and computers, like Candy Crush. Above all else, he loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren, and was truly happy with any time he got to spend with them.
