Kimberly Ann Gunia, 54, presently of Holmdel, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey. Kimberly was born on January 15, 1969, in Chester, Pennsylvania and was raised in Manalapan, New Jersey, where she graduated from Manalapan High School in 1987. Most recently, Kimberly was working in retail for Burlington Department Store in Hazlet, New Jersey. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Kimberly will be forever loved and never forgotten.
Kimberly is survived by her beloved parents, Robert and Dolores (Fazzio) Gunia, her loving sisters, Christine Gunia-Greiner and her husband, William, of Holmdel, and Catherine Jusino and her husband, Bronson, of Howell, and her adored nieces and nephews, Mia Greiner, William Greiner IV, Robert Jusino, and Anna Jusino, along with many cherished extended family members and friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday morning, May 13, 2023, from 10:15 to 11:00 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 11:30 AM at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733. Entombment will follow at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery Mausoleum, 549 County Road 520, Marlboro, New Jersey 07746.
