Kevin Francis Quigley, 63, of Union Beach, NJ, passed away peacefully at Riverview Hospital on April 14, 2021. Kevin was born in New Haven, Connecticut in 1957, and relocated to Edison in 1967, where he grew up and graduated from JFK High School in 1976 before marrying his wife of 29 years, Bonnie Mae Pearson-Quigley in 1991, and settling in Union Beach in 1992. He was an active community member of Union Beach, and even coached the girls recreational basketball team. Kevin loved sports, and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, Notre Dame, and of course, the New York Yankees. Kevin was also a respected veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving from 1976 to 1979. He worked very passionately at Costo in Hazlet in the tire center for 30 years, and was known and loved by many customers.
Kevin is predeceased by his parents Michael and Kathryn Quigley, and his special Aunt Veronica Lonergan, who helped raise Kevin after the tragic loss of his parents at a young age. He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie Mae Pearson-Quigley, his daughters Shannon Kathryn Quigley, and her fiance Spencer, and Brianna Ruth Quigley, brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Kevin will be truly missed and never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday morning, April 22, 2021 9:45 to 10:30 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home on Wednesday evening.
