Kathleen A. Sullivan

Kathleen A. Sullivan, 84, of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday evening, November 5, 2021, at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, New Jersey.  Kathleen was born on September 20, 1937, in Jersey City, New Jersey, where she grew up and met her beloved husband, Donald.  Kathleen attended St. Michael’s High School in Jersey City and was a part of the graduating class of 1956.  A few years later, on May 20, 1961, Kathleen and Donald were married at St. Michael’s Church and began their life together in Jersey City.  In 1973, they settled in Union Beach to rear their family.  Before her retirement, Kathleen worked in the accounts payable department for Bradley’s in Hazlet for many years.  She was also a devout parishioner of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Union Beach.  Most of all, Kathleen was a loving wife, mother, sister, and aunt.  She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her parents, Patrick and Mary (McAnallen) Moore, her beloved daughter, Eileen Sullivan, and her siblings, Patrick Moore and Mary Wu.  Kathleen is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Donald Sullivan, her loving sons, Don Sullivan and his significant other, Ruth Ann Wilson, of Boca Raton, Florida, and Patrick Sullivan and his significant other, Jackie Shaw, of Highlands, and her dear brothers, James Moore and his wife, Dorothy, and Thomas Moore and his wife, Arlene, along with many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members and lifelong friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Thursday morning, November 11, 2021 from 8:45 to 9:30 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 727 Highway 36, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735 on Thursday morning, November 11, 2021 at 10:00 AM.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 360 Broadway, Keyport, New Jersey 07735.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in loving memory of Kathleen to Holy Family’s St. Vincent de Paul Society, it would be greatly appreciated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
