Kathleen A. Doyle

Kathleen A. Doyle, 71, of Aberdeen, New Jersey, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, NJ. She was born on June 28, 1949 in Long Branch, NJ. Kathleen grew up in Hazlet, NJ and was a graduate of Raritan High School, “Class of 1967”. She worked for many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Bayshore Hospital, Holmdel, NJ before retirement.

Kathleen was predeceased by her parents, Mary (nee Tripolitis) and Arby Alvin Doyle, and her brother-in-law, Arthur Young. She is survived by her dear son John Santana of Sayreville, NJ, her caring siblings, brother James Doyle and his wife Yvonne of Southampton, England, twin sister Karen Doyle-Young of Whiting, NJ, brother Richard B. Doyle and partner Nancy Brady of Sayreville, NJ, and long-time friends George Yager of Laurence Harbor, NJ, and Royston Collins of England. Kathleen is also survived by 3 cherished nieces, Nancy, Helen, and Poppy, 3 nephews, Richard, Michael, and Daniel, and 6 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Kathleen will be remembered for her loving and caring heart, unique creativity, and extensive medical knowledge. She loved music of all genres, singers of all styles, and programs featuring new musicians like The Voice and Got Talent. Kathy had a beautiful singing voice. She recalled her solo rendition of Ave Maria at a high school assembly. She was always helping others. Friends and strangers alike benefited from her suggestions to seek medical advice for symptoms. Kathy was, first and always, a nurse. We loved her and she will be missed.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  Kathleen will be entombed at St. Joseph’s Cemetery Mausoleum, 360 Broadway, Keyport, New Jersey 07735 on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 1:00 PM.
