Kathleen Ann Tepper

Kathleen Ann Tepper, 55, of Matawan, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey.  Kathleen was born on November 17, 1965 in the Bronx, New York.  She grew up in Hazlet, New Jersey, where she lived for most of her life and raised her two loving sons, Ryan and Kyle.  In 2013, Kathleen and her beloved companion, Thomas, moved to Bayville, New Jersey and in 2018, they returned to the Bayshore area, settling in Matawan, New Jersey.  Over the years, Kathleen held various retail positions, but her most important role in life was taking care of her family.  She was a beloved mother, companion, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

She was predeceased by her parents, Daniel and Kathleen (Cahill) Tepper.  Kathleen is survived by her loving sons, Ryan and Kyle O’Connor, her beloved and devoted companion of 11 years, Thomas E. Gilzow, and her dear siblings, Daniel Tepper and his wife, Susan, of North Carolina, James Tepper and his wife, Shirley, of North Carolina, Susan Macchia and her husband, Jim, of Belford, and Laura Connor and her husband, Greg, of Hazlet.  Kathleen also leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephews, Danielle and Allison Tepper, Megan and Amanda Macchia, Jeremy and Erin Connor, and Mia Tepper, and her adored furry friends – her cats, Timone and Nala.  She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at approximately 12:30/1:00 PM at the funeral home.  In respect of her wishes, Kathleen will be privately cremated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
